多社の高精度リニアックの使い分け

当施設では、Clinac iXとSynergyの2台のリニアックが稼働しており、年間650例程度の新規患者の治療を行っている。
Conventional な治療においては、使用できるX線エネルギーに応じて、乳癌、頭頸部腫瘍はSynergy、骨盤内腫瘍、脳腫
瘍はClinac iXで治療を行うことが多い。高精度放射線治療では、前立腺VMATと肝定位照射はSynergy、頭頸部IMRTと
肺定位照射はClinac iXを主として使用している。
Two linear accelerators, Clinac iX and Synergy, are installed in Kumamoto University Hospital. For conventional
radiotherapy, breast and head and neck cancers are preferably treated with Synergy, pelvic and intracranial
tumors are treated with Clinac iX, considering the available X-ray energy in the respective accelerators. VMAT for
prostate cancers and SRT for liver tumors with 4D-CBCT are performed using Synergy, while IMRT for head and
neck cancers and SRT for lung cancers with RPM system are perfo rmed with Clinac iX.
