Recently Automatic Brain Metastasis Planning (ABMP) Element
(BrainLAB) was commercially released.It covers multiple offisocenter
targets at a time inside a micro-multi-leaf collimator and
enables stereotactic radiosurgery/stereotactic radiotherapy for
multiple brain metastasis with a single group of lineac-based
dynamic conformal multi-arc (DCA).In this study,ABMP was
compared,in a case of small multiple brain metastasis,with
conventional DCA (iPlan,BrainLAB) by each lesion and Gamma Knife
(Elekta).The conformity and the dose gradient by ABMP were as good
as those of conventional DCA therapy by each lesion.If the conditions
permit minimal PTV margin,1mm or less,ABMP may provide excellent
dose fall-off around the targets,compatible with Gamma Knife.
多発性の脳転移に対して1グループのdynamic conformal arc(DCA)で
同時に治療ができるAutomatic Brain Metastasis Planning(ABMP)エ
レメントがBrainLAB社からリリースされた。ABMPを従来の個々の病変ご
とのDCA治療(iPlan、BrainLAB社)と、また、ガンマナイフ(Elekta社)治療
とを比較してみた。
