救急診療における放射線科医の役割:“Just Be There !”2016

救急診療は24時間365日絶え間なく続くものであり、現状の放射線科医の数でこれに深く関与することは不可
能である。放射線の手段を用いた少しでも質の高い救急診療を目指すには、放射線科医が、現場で生で関与する
ことはもちろん、遠隔でのコンサルタントや臨床医に対する教育者として関与することも重要である。
Professor Tohru Ishikawa said, “Just be there!” He meant to be there in the clinical scene. Thinking
about significance of imaging diagnosis and interventional radiology in the emergency medicine
radiologists need to/can be “there” as the off-site but on-time consultants and leaders for the
educational programs for the clinicians, as well as the directors in the clinical management in
emergency setting. Radiologists should know that the role radiologists can play in the emergency
medicine is much, much grearter than they think. Now I say,“ Let us be there!”
