効率的なビームデータ測定を期待させるツール~人工単結晶ダイヤモンド(synthetic single crystal diamond)ディテクタ~

人工単結晶ダイヤモンド(synthetic single crystal diamond)ディテクタは、フィールドサイズに依存せず光
子線および電子線のビームデータコミッショニングに利用できる。また、効率的なビームデータ測定を行うための
強力なツールとしても期待できる。
MicroDiamond detector(MDD)has been examined for application of dose measurement in radiation
therapy. Data of dose profile and percentage depth dose measured by MDD are consistent with those
measured by a combination of cylindrical and parallel plate ionization chambers, where photon and
electron beams are employed. The result suggests that single MDD works well with any size of
irradiation filed although conventional method requires several kinds of detectors depending on size of
the field. It is supposed that MDD is a convenient dosimeter for beam data commissioning in radiation
therapy.
