画像診断分野の情報システムの方向性

医療情報システムは、増え続けるデータを転送して保存するだけでなく、深層学習等の機械学習アルゴリズムによりデ
ータを有効活用し、多種類の専門的評価を高い精度で自動導出するように進化するだろう。医師はシステムを使いこなし、
専門的評価を理解し、病態の全体像を把握した上で、個々の事情も考慮しつつ、医学的判断を適切かつ効率的に行うと
いうコンシェルジュの様な役割を果たすことが求められるだろう。
With the adoption of machine learning algorithms such as deep learning, information systems for clinical
medicine will likely evolve from mere dumb pipes and storages into intelligent agents that can utilize
the ever-increasing medical data to automatically derive various kinds of specialized medical assessments
with high accuracy. Physicians will be expected to make medical decisions appropriately and effectively by
acting as medical “concierges”, who master the system, can appropriately comprehend the derived
assessments, and can comprehensively grasp the patients’ pathophysiological conditions while taking their
individual situations into consideration.
