乳癌の治療における外科治療の重要性は、新たな薬物療法の登場により低下
しつつある。しかし、逆に乳房再建の保険適応により、整容性に対する要求は増加
しつつある。乳癌の手術では、根治性と整容性の二兎を追うことが必要であり、か
つ二兎を得なければならない。
The importance of surgery for breast cancer has been getting lower by
the development of new drugs. On the other hand, the cosmetic outcome
of breast surgery is required by the approval of insurance coverage for
reconstruction of the breast with implants. In the surgery for breast
cancer, both of curability and cosmetic outcome are necessary.
