下肢静脈瘤治療において確立しているfoam sclerotherapyで汎用されるポリドカノールは、今や胃静脈瘤に
対するB-RTOをはじめとしてvascular malformationやリンパ管腫、巨大肝嚢胞などへCO2-DSAとともに応用
範囲が拡大し、大幅な硬化剤減量による副作用軽減に貢献しつつある。
Foam sclerotherapy had been already established as a standard method to treat lower extremity
varicose veins. We have introduced the polidocanol foam to cystic lesions including huge hepatic cysts,
lymphangioma or vascular malformations in addition to gastric varices by B-RTO.
