並列型PET/MRで何が分かるか？

PET/MR装置はPET/CTと同等のPET性能に加え、MRの優れた組織コントラストと多彩なシークエンスを用
いて病変性状に関する情報を提供でき、PET/CTを凌駕する有用な診断ツールである。本稿では並列型PET/
MR装置の使用経験を基に、PET/MR検査の概要、適応分野、新たな診断学的パラメータの可能性について腫瘍
イメージングを中心に紹介する。
Recent advent of hybrid PET/MR imaging has brought new insights in body imaging by simultaneously
acquiring both anatomical and functional information of various tissues. Compared with PET/CT, PET/
MR can reduce the radiation dose and yield better lesion-to-normal tissue contrast with MR, which
brings new approach to tumor characterization. In this report, we introduce the imaging workflow,
clinical and research application, a few technical aspects, and potential diagnostic parameters
regarding PET/MR.
