大学病院での取り組み
聖マリアンナ医科大学放射線医学教室 中島康雄
我が国の夜間休日の救急放射線診療において放射線科医の関与は少なく画像診断がキーとなっている我が国の救急医療の大きな欠点である。比較的人的資源の豊富な大学病院においても体制は整っているとは言いがたく放射線科医不在のまま治療方針が決定されているのが現状である。今回、聖マリアンナ医科大学本院のシステム入れ替えを契機に新たに遠隔画像診断が可能なシステムを導入し専門医よる画像診断フルカバー体制を整える準備を行っている。救急医療への放射線科専門医の関与を増やすためには遠隔画像診断は必須のアイテムであり今後多くの施設で考慮されるべき仕組みと考える。
Department of Radiology of St. Marianna university has been regarded as one of the leading site of emergency radiology in Japan. However, we still not have established the ideal full covered in 24/365 by board certified radiologist. We are now trying to make such service using on-time tele-consultation by current system. I am sure that on-time tele-radiology service makes Japanese radiologists more efficiently can contribute to daily practice in emergency medicine not only in University hospital but also local smaller sized emergency clinics. So we were building a telemedicine from Hawaii using time difference, it was useful for diagnosis on duty. It is not only decrease of their stress, but also contribute for medical safety and patient prognosis.
