乳がん検診における「高濃度乳房」問題について─なぜ高濃度乳房が問題になったか─

乳がんマンモグラフィ検診の認知度が高まり、問題点も指摘され始める中、「高濃度乳房」問題は報道されるや、
その注目度は一気に高まり、関係団体はその対応に追われている。「高濃度乳房」では腫瘍が隠れる可能性がある
が、その通知がなかったことが問題視され、これは米国のAre You Dense?® 運動に端を発し、日本でも提起さ
れるに至った。
As the awareness of breast cancer screening mammography has increased and its problems are also
being pointed out, when the “dense breast” problem is reported, its attention is rising at a stroke, and
related organizations are being challenged by the response. Although there is a possibility that the tumor
may be hidden in the “dense breast”, it was regarded as a problem that there was no notification, which
started with the US Are You Dense?® Movement and was also raised in Japan.
