AmplatzerTM vascular plug®活用について

AmplatzerTM vascular plug®は自己拡張型の新しい塞栓デバイスである。その塞栓力やradial forceの強
さにより、様々な場面で使用され、その有効性が報告されている。日本で使用可能な3タイプの特性や違いを簡単
に紹介し、当院での使用経験と合わせ報告する。
AmplatzerTM vascular plug® (AVP) is a new vascular closure device. Three types of AVP are
commercially available in Japan. It is important to understand characteristics and advantage of AVP and
its difference from other embolic materials in order to achieve good clinical results. We use AVP when we
treat pulmonary arteriovenous malformations, gastric varices, portosystemic shunt and blood flow
alternation. Herein we introduce AVP and show our experiences to use AVP.
