MRIの電磁場環境は心臓ペースメーカに対し、マグネットモードへの移行による競合、リードスイッチの損傷、発熱、不整脈の誘発、オーバーセンシング、などの影響をおよぼす。条件付きMRI対応ペースメーカの登場により、ペースメーカ装着者が禁忌となっていたMRI検査への門戸が開かれたが検査時には緊急対応できる体制を築くことが必須である。
MR forces(gradient, radiofrequency, static fields) have a number of risks for pacing systems,includingcompetition, reed switch trouble, lead heating, cardiac stimulation, unintended stimulation, over sensing,failure to pace, and reprogramming or reset. Although MR conditional pacemaker has developed
recently, We should be careful to the safety for the MR examination of those patients.
