Disposable gold marker was invented as the marker which made it possible to chase a moving lung tumor.
This marker is made of pure gold. Its diameter is 1.5 mm and the shape is spherical. It can be implanted near the
targeted lung tumor by bronchoscopy. This gold marker can be visible through the X-ray fluoroscopy or CT, which
helps to confirm the localization of a moving lung tumor. The support of precise radiotherapy to a moving lung
tumor becomes possible.
ディスポーザブルゴールドマーカーは、呼吸性移動のある肺病変の目印として開発された位置確認用マーカーである。本製品は生体への適合性が高い純金製・直径1.5mmの球体で、気管支鏡を用いて病変周囲に留置できる。このマーカーをX線透視装置やCTなどで視認することにより病変の位置が把握しやすくなるため、動く標的に対するより正確な放射線治療のサポートが可能となる。
