金属マーカを用いた肝・前立腺の高精度治療〜VISICOILの経験〜

Fiducials can be introduced relatively safely to the liver and prostate. And using fiducials, inter- and
intra-fractional movement is easier to measure, so useful in IMRT and SBRT. To evaluate the respiratory motion of
tumor and fiducials, enough doses can be given. Fiducials implanted in the prostate enable precise setup and realtime
tracking irradiation.
肝と前立腺への金属マーカ留置は、比較的安全に実施できる。金属マーカを用いて、照射ごとの位置変動と照射中の位置変動が容易に計測できるので、IMRTやSBRTなどに有用である。肝では、呼吸性移動を評価して、標的に十分な線量が投与できる。前立腺では、精度の高いセットアップが可能になり、リアルタイムの追尾照射にも利用できる。
